AUTHORIZATION TO AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS Sample Clauses
The "Authorization to Award Construction Contracts" clause grants formal permission for a designated party, typically the project owner or their representative, to enter into binding agreements with contractors for construction work. This clause outlines the conditions under which such authorization is given, such as the completion of design phases, approval of budgets, or receipt of necessary permits. By clearly specifying when and how contracts can be awarded, the clause ensures that construction commitments are made only after all prerequisites are met, thereby reducing the risk of premature or unauthorized contract execution.
