Common use of Authorised Person Clause in Contracts

Authorised Person. For the purposes of this Agreement, the Selected Bidder is represented by [Insert Name of the authorized representative of the Selected Bidder/ Lead Member, in case of Consortium], pursuant to an authorization granted to [Insert Name of the authorized representative of the Selected Bidder/Lead Member, in case of Consortium] through necessary Board resolutions. Further, [Insert Name of the authorized representative of the Selected Bidder/Lead Member, in case of Consortium] is also authorized by such resolutions to take any decision which may be required to be taken, do all acts and execute all documents which are or may be required by the Selected Bidder for the proper and effective fulfillment of the rights and obligations under this Agreement. Any action taken or document executed by [Insert Name of the authorized representative of the Selected Bidder/Lead Member, in case of Consortium] shall be deemed to be acts done or documents executed by the Selected Bidder and shall be binding on the Selected Bidder.
