ATTENDANCE AT WORK. 10.01 Employees are required to attend work regularly. When unable to attend, the employee must contact the Human Resources Department as far in advance as possible of his/her scheduled start time, giving the reason he/she is unable to attend work, date of his/her expected return, and the details as to where he/she can be contacted in his/her absence. An employee may be required by the Company to substantiate the reasons for any absence, his/her expected date of return, and his/her limitations, if any, or may be required to be examined by an Independent Medical Examiner (IME). Such IME may be selected by the employee from among a list of IME’s established by the Company. If the Company requires the employee to be examined by an IME, the Company will pay the cost of such examination.
