Attendance at Board of Health Meetings. A represented employee may attend a Board of Health meeting during regular working hours without loss of pay provided such employee has been placed on the agenda to make a specific presentation to the Board. A represented employee may attend any regular Board of Health meeting on the same basis as any private citizen at the employee’s own discretion during any period the employee is on a scheduled leave.

  • Attendance at Meetings Employees designated as shop stewards or official representatives of the Union shall be allowed to attend meetings held by County agencies during regular working hours on County time as follows:

  • Board of Directors Meetings The Company shall use its best efforts to ensure that meetings of its Board of Directors are held at least four times each year and at least once each quarter.

  • ATTENDANCE AT MANDATORY MEETINGS/SCHOOL EVENTS Where an employee is required through clear direction by the board to attend work outside of regular working hours, the provisions of the local collective agreement regarding hours of work and compensation, including any relevant overtime/lieu time provisions, shall apply. Required attendance outside of regular working hours may include, but is not limited to school staff meetings, parent/teacher interviews, curriculum nights, Individual Education Plan and Identification Placement Review Committee meetings, and consultations with board professional staff.

  • Leave, Board of Directors A nurse who is elected to the Board of Directors of the Ontario Nurses' Association, other than to the office of President, shall be granted upon request such leave(s) of absence as she or he may require to fulfill the duties of the position. Reasonable notice - sufficient to adequately allow the Hospital to minimize disruption of its services shall be given to the Hospital for such leave of absence. Notwithstanding Article 10.04, there shall be no loss of seniority or service for a nurse during such leave of absence. Leave of absence under this provision shall be in addition to the Union leave provided in Article 11.02

  • Professional Meetings Employees should be encouraged to and may, with the approval of the supervisor, attend professional meetings, conferences, and activities. Subject to the availability of funds, the employee's expenses in connection with such meetings, conferences, or activities shall be reimbursed in accordance with the applicable provisions of State law and university rules.

  • Parent Board of Directors As soon as practicable after the Effective Time, Parent shall use reasonable efforts to nominate and appoint (i) Xxxxxx X. Xxxxxx, or such other nominee designated by the Company, to Class I of its Board of Directors to serve until the annual meeting of stockholders to be held in 1999 and (ii) Xxxxx X. Xxxxxx, or such other nominee designated by the Company, to Class II of its Board of Directors to serve until the annual meeting of stockholders to be held in 2000.
