Athletic Coaching Assignments a. Coaching positions shall be posted and the incumbent notified when the position becomes vacant. A position may be filled after having been posted on the District’s vacancy list for one (1) week. b. The District athletic director and the immediate supervisor shall consider all written applications for coaching positions and select the best qualified coaches for coaching assignments. c. Coaching assignments designated for compensation shall be paid according to the schedule provided for in this Agreement. d. If a teacher prefers a coaching assignment, that preference shall be expressed in writing on the standardized application form to the immediate supervisor.
