Common use of At-Will Status Clause in Contracts

At-Will Status. Nothing in this Agreement shall create any obligation on the part of any member of the Carrier Group, any member of the Otis Group or any member of the UTC Group to (i) continue the employment of any Employee or permit the return from a leave of absence for any period after the date of this Agreement (except as required by applicable Law) or (ii) change the employment status of any Employee from “at-will,” to the extent that such Employee is an “at-will” employee under applicable Law.
