Common use of Assumption of Risk Clause in Contracts

Assumption of Risk. There are risks associated with living in a higher education housing environment and with participating in University Housing. Resident acknowledges these risks and elects to reside and participate with full knowledge of the risks of injury, illness, or damage to property. Resident acknowledges and agrees that he/she is owed no extraordinary duty of care in connection with his/her residency in the Residence Facility or in connection with any University Housing programming.
