Association Participation. Employee Represented - The Board acknowledges the right of the Association's grievance representative to participate in the processing of a grievance at any level, and no employee shall be required to discuss any grievance if the Association's representative is not present.

If the Employee chooses to have the grievance adjusted without the intervention of the Association’s representative, the Association shall be notified and given the opportunity to have its representative present at such adjustment.
Association Participation. A representative of the Association may, upon request, address the Board during the staff participation portion of the agenda. Upon written request of the Association not less than seven (7) days prior to the meeting, the Association may be placed on the agenda for the purpose of addressing any relevant topic, which is not the subject of negotiations. All such presentations will be subject to Board policies and orders governing the conduct of Board meetings provided such policies shall not discriminate against the Association.
