Association Delegates. The employer agrees to allow a reasonable amount of time off with pay for representatives attending Association business, excluding collective bargaining negotiation meetings with the employer, but including attendance at meetings of the Police Association of Ontario and the Canadian Police Association as well as any other Association meetings. This time off will be provided on the basis that the Association would furnish the names of the delegates to the Chief at least three (3) weeks in advance of the request for time off.

Association Delegates. The Association shall have the right to send delegates and/or representatives to legislative committee hearings, SBCTC meetings, or Association regional, statewide, or national meetings/conferences. When using this provision, faculty members shall attempt to plan classes so that a substitute is not required. If a substitute is required, the Association shall pay for the cost of any substitute that may be necessary, in the judgment of the administration, to fulfill the faculty member’s assignment during his/her absence. In the interest of meeting student needs and expectations, faculty members shall notify the appropriate administrator with reasonable notice, depending on the event, to provide the opportunity to plan in advance of the meeting. The Association shall bear the cost of travel and related expenses. For purposes of this section, the Association may utilize up to a total of 140 hours per year.

  • Association Dues 5.01 In every pay period, the Board shall deduct from every pay of each Occasional Teacher the appropriate amount of dues as authorized by the Constitution of the Association and directed by its Executive.

  • Association-Management Committee There shall be an Association-Management Committee comprised of two (2) representatives of the parties.   • Association Grievances If a grievance affects a group of employees or the Association, the Association may initiate and submit such grievance to the Superintendent directly, and the processing of such grievance shall commence at Step 2. Grievances involving more than one supervisor and grievances involving the administrator above the building level may be filed by the Association at Step 2.

  • Association Responsibility The Association recognizes its responsibility as exclusive representative and agrees to represent all employees in the bargaining unit without discrimination.

  • Association Responsibilities 1. The organization shall keep an adequate itemized record of its financial transactions and shall make available annually to the City Clerk, and to all unit employees, within sixty (60) calendar days after the end of its fiscal year, a detailed written financial report thereof in the form of a balance sheet and an operating statement, certified as to its accuracy by its president and the treasurer or corresponding principal officer, or by a certified public accountant.
