Assisting. The Colorado Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (COVOAD) is the Colorado State chapter of the National Voluntary Organization Active in Disaster (NVOAD) group. The primary mission of all VOADs is to Communicate, Coordinate, Cooperate and Collaborate with each other to provide response and recovery assistance to people affected by all-hazards disasters. The group meets monthly to plan and execute the four C’s mentioned above. The organizations that are active usually have national ties, but sometimes there are local groups that apply for and become members of a local, regional or State VOAD. Assisting. AGENCIES Any law enforcement agency may be an Assisting Agency, as defined below. Assisting Agencies are not subject to the terms of this Agreement and remain solely responsible at all times for their employees and property in accordance with Chapter 10.93 RCW.

  • Professional Activities The Superintendent/Principal shall be encouraged to attend appropriate professional meetings at the local, state, and national levels. Within budget constraints, such costs of attendance shall be paid by the Board. The Superintendent/Principal’s attendance at professional meetings at the national level must have prior approval of the Board.

  • Investigatory Interview When the employee under investigation is to be interviewed concerning the alleged conduct which could result in discharge or other discipline, the employee and his or her representative shall be notified in writing, at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the interview. In the event of an emergency, such reasonable notice as the circumstances permit shall be given. The notice shall state that an official investigation is being conducted and shall state the subject matter of the investigatory interview.

  • Hiring Customer agrees not to solicit, offer to employ, or enter into consultant relationships with any HP employee involved in the performance of services under this Agreement for 1 year after the date he or she ceases to perform such services. However, Customer may hire any such employee who responds to a general hiring program conducted in the ordinary course of business, and not specifically directed to HP employees.

  • Personnel Provide, without remuneration from or other cost to the Trust, the services of individuals competent to perform the administrative functions which are not performed by employees or other agents engaged by the Trust or by the Adviser acting in some other capacity pursuant to a separate agreement or arrangement with the Trust.

  • Cooperation with Investigations You agree to cooperate with us in the investigation of unusual transactions, poor quality transmissions, and resolution of customer claims, including by providing, upon request and without further cost, any originals or copies of items deposited through the Service in your possession and your records relating to such items and transmissions.
