Assistant Mechanic Clause Samples

Assistant Mechanic. The Assistant Mechanic who is currently working for the Employer is paid as per the Letter of Understanding entered into in June 2013, and is red-circled until the Assistant Mechanic rate matches the Operator II rates. The present rates for the Assistant Mechanic as per the Letter of Understanding are:
Assistant Mechanic. Under direct supervision, regularly and customarily assists Mechanic and does the less complicated types of repairing, adjusting, and maintaining transportation and construction units and equipment, such as: packing pump bearings, tightening body bolts, rebushing wheels, front-end springs, etc.; relining brakes, dismantling transmissions and differentials, changing springs, adjusting starters and generators, minor repairing on bodies and fenders, clearing up troubles on units out on the road, etc.
Assistant Mechanic. When, after the fifth day of absence of the Head Mechanic, the Assistant Mechanic must assume the duties of the Head mechanic, the Assistant Mechanic shall be paid at the hourly rate equal to that of the Head Mechanic, times the number of hours worked in that capacity.

Assistant Mechanic. If an assistant mechanic position is created, the starting salary will be determined by the Superintendent. All current teacher aides will receive $143 per day for 2017-2018 and will receive a 2.5% increase for each of the next three years of this agreement.
