Assistance Animals. Landlord will make reasonable efforts to accommodate Tenants with documented disabilities who request the right to bring an Assistance Animal onto the property. Requests for an Assistance Animal must be made in writing and will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Assistance Animals are not allowed on the property unless written permission from the Landlord has first been issued. Tenants permitted to have an assistance animal agree to pay for any and all damages caused by the assistance animal. Tenants who have an assistance animal agree to pay the cost of having the Premises and Apartment Unit de-fleaed and de-ticked by a professional exterminator and the carpeting shampooed and deodorized by a professional cleaner at the termination of occupancy. Landlord reserves the right to demand that any assistance animal which shows aggression, is an annoyance to other Tenants, or is destructive to property, be removed from the Premises and Apartment Unit.

Assistance Animals. An Assistance Animal must be contained within student’s privately assigned individual living accommodations (e.g., room, suite, and apartment) except to the extent that the individual is taking the animal out of doors for natural relief. When an Assistance Animal is outside the private individual living accommodations, it must be in an animal carrier or controlled by a leash or harness. Assistance Animals are not allowed in any college facilities other than college residence halls (e.g. dormitories, suites, apartments, etc.) to which the individual is assigned.
Assistance Animals. ‌ This local law is subject to any written law and law of the Commonwealth about assistance animals as defined in the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Commonwealth) section 9(2).

Given the logistical considerations of having an animal on campus, specific processes are required to ensure safe and healthy interactions between the animal, the Student and the campus constituencies. To request permission to keep an Assistance Animal in the room, the Student should contact the College’s Office of Disability Services.
Assistance Animals. If any Tenant or their guest(s) has a need for an assistance animal to alleviate one or more identified systems or treat an existing and documented disability, Tenant shall be permitted to keep an assistance animal of the type described below on the Property on the following terms:

Resident shall not maintain an assistance animal in the Premises or Property Common Area without prior written consent from Landlord in the form of a fully executed Assistance Animal Addendum, which shall be incorporated into this Lease Agreement by reference therein.

Assistance animals are not allowed in any university facilities other than the campus residence hall room, pod, apartment or suite to which the individual is assigned and not allowed to be off leash or outside of a carrier in any common areas of residence halls including shared living areas of halls, pods, suites and/or apartments.
Assistance Animals. Students seeking to have an assistance animal because of a documented disability may make a request for Special Needs Housing. Students will be required to provide documentation of the qualifying disability, information about how the animal serves as an accommodation for the disability, and information about how the animal relates to the students ability to use University housing. Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
