Common use of Assault Leave Clause in Contracts

Assault Leave. a. A bargaining unit member who must be absent because of a disability resulting from a physical assault, which occurs during the course of Board employment while on duty on school grounds, while required to be in attendance at a school-sponsored function, or while exercising employment authority on behalf of the Board when attending school functions, shall be eligible to receive assault leave.
