Asbestos Exclusion. No indemnity will be provided in respect of any liability arising directly or indirectly from mining, processing, manufacturing, removing, handling, disposing of, treatment of, distributing or storage of asbestos.
Asbestos Exclusion. It is hereby understood and agreed that this Policy shall not apply to, and does not cover, any actual or alleged liability whatsoever for any claim or claims in respect of loss or losses directly or indirectly caused by, arising out of, resulting from, in consequence of, in any way involving, or to the extent contributed to by, the hazardous nature of asbestos in whatever form or quantity.
Asbestos Exclusion. This endorsement is applicable to the Public liability section, Employers liability section, Umbrella liability section, Broadform Public liability section, Personal Liability section, Extended personal legal liability section, sub-section D (Liability) of the Buildings combined section, sub- section D: (Property owner's liability) of the Houseowners section and Extensions 17. Tenants liability and 18. Liability to the public of the Householders section of the policy. Notwithstanding any provision of this policy including any exclusion, exception or extension or other provision which would otherwise override a General exception, this policy does not cover any legal liability, loss, damage, cost or expense whatsoever or any consequential loss directly or indirectly caused by, arising out of, resulting from, in consequence of, in any way involving, or to the extend contributed to by, the hazardous nature of asbestos in whatever form or quantity.

  • Asbestos Any material that contains more than one percent asbestos and is friable or is releasing asbestos fibers into the air above current action levels established by the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

  • Explosives Explosives or other highly flammable substances shall not be stored or used on Railroad's property without the prior written approval of Railroad.

  • Contamination The presence in, on or under land, air or water of a substance (whether a solid, liquid, gas, odour, heat, sound, vibration or radiation) at a concentration above the concentration at which the substance is normally present in, on or under land, air or water in the same locality, that presents a risk of Environmental Harm, including harm to human health or any other aspect of the Environment, or could otherwise give rise to a risk of non-compliance with any Statutory Requirement for the protection of the Environment.

  • Mold The Resident acknowledges that to avoid mold growth it is important to prevent excessive moisture buildup and agrees to remove visible moisture accumulation as soon as it occurs and immediately report to Owner any evidence of excess moisture or mold or mildew inside the Home. Resident acknowledges receipt of the “Mold Information and Prevention Addendum” which is fully executed and incorporated herein by reference.

  • Hazardous Wastes Are hazardous wastes generated? Yes ☐ No ☐ If yes, continue with the next question. If not, skip this section and go to section 4.0.

  • TOXIC SUBSTANCES Each Contractor furnishing a toxic substance as defined by Section 875 of the Labor Law, shall provide such Authorized User with not less than two copies of a material safety data sheet, which sheet shall include for each such substance the information outlined in Section 876 of the Labor Law. Before any chemical product is used or applied on or in any building, a copy of the product label and Material Safety Data Sheet must be provided to and approved by the Authorized User agency representative.

  • Animals The Hirer shall ensure that no animals (including birds) except guide dogs are brought into the premises, other than for a special event agreed to by the Village Hall. No animals whatsoever are to enter the kitchen at any time.

  • Hazardous Substances The words "Hazardous Substances" mean materials that, because of their quantity, concentration or physical, chemical or infectious characteristics, may cause or pose a present or potential hazard to human health or the environment when improperly used, treated, stored, disposed of, generated, manufactured, transported or otherwise handled. The words "Hazardous Substances" are used in their very broadest sense and include without limitation any and all hazardous or toxic substances, materials or waste as defined by or listed under the Environmental Laws. The term "Hazardous Substances" also includes, without limitation, petroleum and petroleum by-products or any fraction thereof and asbestos.

  • Labeling Upon request, Lessee will xxxx the Equipment indicating Lessor's interest with labels provided by Lessor. Lessee will keep all Equipment free from any other marking or labeling which might be interpreted as a claim of ownership.

  • Use of Hazardous Materials Lessee shall not cause or permit any Hazardous Materials to be brought upon, kept or used in, on or about the Project by Lessee, its agents, employees, contractors, licensee, guests, visitors or invitees without the prior written consent of Lessor. Lessor shall not unreasonably withhold such consent so long as Lessee demonstrates to Lessor's reasonable satisfaction that such Hazardous Materials are necessary or useful to Lessee's business and will be used, kept and stored in a manner that complies with all applicable Environmental Laws. Lessee shall, at all times, use, keep, store, handle, transport, treat or dispose all such Hazardous Materials in or about the Property in compliance with all applicable Environmental Laws. Prior to the expiration or earlier termination of this Lease, Lessee shall remove from the Property all Hazardous Materials used or brought onto the Property during the Lease Term by anyone other than Lessor, its agents, employees or contractors.
