As an Individual. Sun has established a formal Java specification development process (“Process”) which is described on the World Wide Web at xxxx://xxxx.xxx.xxx/aboutJava/communityprocess/ which may be revised by Sun from time to time, provided that no such revisions shall apply to any Specification then underway. Upon execution of this Agreement by the parties, You are authorized to participate in accordance with the Process, on Your own behalf, if selected as a member of the Expert Group for the development of JSR # ( ) (the “Specification”). This Agreement is limited to participation in development of the foregoing JSR and does not grant you rights to participate in any other JSR as an Expert or otherwise. This Agreement shall control in the event of any conflict between it and the Process. Terms defined in the Process document (for example, “Expert”) have the same meaning when used in this Agreement.

  • Permanent Employment (FULL - TIME & PART-TIME) For the purpose of this Agreement, permanent employees shall mean both full-time and part-time employees.

  • An Employee (other than a casual employee) required to attend for jury service during ordinary working hours will be reimbursed by the Company an amount equal to the difference between the amount paid in respect of the employee’s attendance for such jury service and the amount of wage the employee would have received in respect of the ordinary time the employee would have worked had the employee not been on jury service.

  • Permanent Employee Definition: An employee who has completed a probationary period or a permanent employee who is serving a probationary period in the same or a different class. Permanent employees shall be laid off according to the layoff ratings, lowest ratings first. The order of layoff within categories 1, 2, and 3, and for permanent employees with equal layoff ratings, shall be at the appointing authority's discretion. Employees on leave shall be laid off or demoted in lieu of layoff as if they were active employees.

  • Outside Employment Employees may engage in other employment outside of their State working hours so long as the outside employment does not involve a conflict of interest with their State employment. Whenever it appears that any such outside employment might constitute a conflict of interest, the employee is expected to consult with his/her appointing authority or other appropriate agency representative prior to engaging in such outside employment. Employees of agencies where there are established procedures concerning outside employment for the purpose of insuring compliance with specific statutory restrictions on outside employment are expected to comply with such procedures.

  • Exclusive Employment During employment with the Company, Executive will not do anything to compete with the Company’s present or contemplated business, nor will he plan or organize any competitive business activity. Executive will not enter into any agreement which conflicts with his duties or obligations to the Company. Executive will not during his employment or within one (1) year after it ends, without the Company’s express written consent, directly or indirectly, solicit or encourage any employee, agent, independent contractor, supplier, customer, consultant or any other person or company to terminate or alter a relationship with the Company.

  • Place of Employment Executive’s principal place of employment shall be the corporate offices of the Company.

  • Permanent Part-Time Employees (1) Pay and benefits will be computed on a prorated monthly or pay period basis, such as one-half (½) monthly or pay period pay for a half-time employee, or pay will be computed on an hourly basis, and pay and benefits will be normally prorated on a pay period, pay status basis. Permanent part-time employees in permanent full-time positions will be treated as permanent part-time for purposes of this Article.

  • Pregnancy, Parental and Adoption Leave The Board provides pregnancy, parental and adoption leave for employees for such period before and after delivery or adoption of a child as will serve the interest of the students, the Board and the employee concerned, and in conformity with the requirements of the Employment Standards Act. Pregnancy is regarded as a normal health condition and not as sickness. No distinction is made between illness resulting from pregnancy and other types of illness for the purpose of sick leave coverage.
