ARTICLE VACATIONS. Each employee of the Company during the first calendar year of his employment shall accrue a day vacation per month worked. An additional no paid vacation may be granted to bring said vacation period to one (1) week. The employee shall receive vacation pay equal to four percent (4%) of his total pay prior to June of the year in which the vacation is taken. On the day of June after an employee has completed one year of continuous service with the Company, he shall be entitled to two (2) weeks of vacation pay equal to four percent (4%) of the total pay of the employee since July of the previous year. On the day of June after an employee has completed five (5) years of continuous service with the Company, he shall be entitled to three (3) weeks vacation with vacation pay equal to six percent (6%) of the total pay of the employee since July of the previous year. Vacation cannot be accumulated from year-to-year, but must be taken within a year after it is earned. All employees are expected to take two (2) weeks vacation. If there is a designated shutdown, employees with vacation time owing are expected to use it. Vacation for shutdown shall only be for a maximum two (2) week period. Those employees with two (2) weeks or less vacation will not be penalized vacation time during a designated shutdown. Vacation schedule is to be posted from February to March of each year. The Company is to designate the shutdown on the schedule by seniority. Once an employee has designated his vacation choice and that choice has been accepted by the Company, it may not be changed except by mutual agreement. Employees not designating their vacation choice prior to March will be subject to the requirements of the operation and be given preference in the order that they make their request, seniority not to be the controlling factor and subject to two (2) weeks notice to the Company. However, the Company will consider all requests on shorter notice and will accommodate these requests whenever circumstances allow. All vacation requests must be in writing, signed and presented to Management for approval. Management will confirm the acceptance in writing, as per Article No employee shall take more than two (2) weeks vacation at one time during July and August, except where such additional vacation time does not interfere with any other employees' two (2) week entitlement. On the day of June, after an employee who has completed seventeen fifteen (1715) years but less than twenty five (25) years of continuous service with the Company, he as of June of any year shall be entitled to five (5) weeks vacation pay equal to ten percent (10%) of the total pay of the annual vacation, with pay. The Company is to designate the shutdown on the schedule by seniority. Once an employee has designated his vacation choice and that choice has been accepted by the Company, it may not be changed except by mutual agreement. Employees not designating their vacation choice prior to March will be subject to the requirements application of Article Effect of Absence. Vacation pay shall be calculated at the employee’s basic straight time rate in effect as of the operation and date on which his vacation commences. An employee will be given preference in the order that opportunity to request from choice of vacation dates by March 1st of the vacation year. Wherever possible the Company shall attempt to grant the employee the requested time off. Where this is not possible the decision of the department head will prevail. Final Vacation Schedules will be posted by April 1st. Employees wishing to exchange vacation periods after they make their request, seniority not to be the controlling factor and subject to two (2) weeks notice have been posted shall give such request writing to the CompanyUnit Manager. However, The Unit Manager will assist the Company will consider all requests employee in attempting to exchange vacation with employees when requested. When recognized holidays falls on shorter notice and will accommodate these requests whenever circumstances allow. All a day of the employee’s scheduled vacation requests must be in writing, signed and presented to Management for approval. Management will confirm the acceptance in writing, as per Article No employee shall take more than two (2) weeks vacation at one time during July and August, except where such additional vacation time does not interfere with any other employees' two (2) week entitlement. All employees who so desire he shall be entitled to twoelect: an pay at the basic rate in lieu of the holiday, or, an additional day off with pay in lieu of the holiday to be taken after the holiday on a date mutually agreed with the Unit Manager. - - I - of an be paid pay to vacation credit earned to the date of separation. Should an employee die in the service of the Company, the unused portion of his vacation credits shall be turned over to his personal representatives. Should an employee, who has commenced his scheduled vacation, agree upon the request of the Company, to return to perform work during the vacation period, the employee shall be paid at the rate of one and one half times his basic straight time rate for all hours worked. To replace the originally scheduled days on which such work was performed the employees will receive one vacation lieu day off for which he had so worked.

ARTICLE VACATIONS. Each employee As of April 30th in each year, employees who have been in the continuous service of the Company during the first calendar year Employer for a period of his employment shall accrue a day vacation per month worked.
