Archivist. An Archivist is a Librarian Member with a graduate degree in Archival Studies or Informational Studies/Library Science with an emphasis on archival studies, or an equivalent combination of a relevant graduate degree and relevant professional experience in archives.
Archivist. The Archivist is responsible for making the records of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Institute available to the local, regional, national and international research community. The Archivist, under the supervision of the Director of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Institute, is responsible for the acquisition, appraisal, arrangement and description, preservation and accessibility of Cape Breton Island’s historically and culturally significant documentary heritage according to archival principles and practices. The current duties and responsibilities for the position are outlined in the December 2012 job description. Changes to the job description during the term of the Collective Agreement will require the consent of the Employer, the Association and the Archivist. Such changes shall not be unreasonably requested, nor shall they be unreasonably refused. Salary scale for the Archivist position shall be equivalent to that of Librarian I/II with no provision for promotion. The terms and conditions of employment of Archivist shall be as contained in her/his current contract in effect on the date of signing of this Agreement, provided, however, that all provisions of this Agreement shall also apply to her/him, with the following exceptions:
Archivist. The University will ensure these staff positions (or equivalents) remain funded for a minimum of 10 years, and will use all reasonable efforts to ensure continued funding so long as the positions are deemed necessary for the effective operation of the Centre.
Archivist. “Archivist” means the University Archivist, ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ University Archives and includes his/her staff;
Archivist. The Contractor shall propose one (1) individual for the Archivist Key Personnel role for the IDC, who will be responsible for all archival efforts in completing Task Order requirements. The minimum qualifications for the Archivist are: a. The individual proposed as the Archivist shall have graduate degree (Master’s or above) in Archaeology, Anthropology, or other field closely related to Cultural Resources. b. The individual proposed as the Archivist shall document current professional registration in their respective field, where applicable or available. c. The individual proposed as the Archivist shall have at least five (5) years’ working experience with Aquatic and Terrestrial Cultural Resources projects.
Archivist a) The Archivist is responsible for the long-term management and preservation of the records of the Council selected for permanent retention and deposited at the County Record Office. b) The Archivist provides professional expertise on the maintenance and preservation of records in all formats across the authority.
