Archival Recording. (i) The Employer intends to record the Performer’s performance for archival purposes in accordance with Clause 41 of the Agreement and seeks the Performer’s consent to so record a performance.

Archival Recording. A video or audio tape of a production may be made for archival purposes under the following conditions: The musicians and the Association shall be notified, by written notice, of the recording not later than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the recording. The recording must not be edited, copied or distributed in any manner. The recording is to be used exclusively for archival, reference and study purposes. The recording shall remain under the control of the Producer and will not be sold, leased, licensed or lent out for any purpose. The recording may not be replayed in public or broadcast in any manner. The tape shall be labeled "For Archival and Study Purposes Only". Should the recording ever be utilized by any party for any purpose not explicitly set forth herein the Producer agrees to enter into and fulfill all conditions required by the appropriate agreement of the AFM and/or TMA, including, but not limited to the payment of the prevailing fees and allied benefits as required therein.
Archival Recording. For archival purposes of the Theatre, or other official library theatrical archive, the Theatre shall have the right to make a film, videotape, or other visual record of the final dress rehearsal or of performances. Broadcast may be on a live or delayed basis in Canada and on a delayed basis outside Canada over the English and French radio stations including isolated locations in Canada and over the facilities of the Canadian Forces abroad and at sea. Such finished recordings shall not involve the Artist in any additional work and shall not take place on more than three (3) days unless additional payments are made. The shall notify Equity at least thirty (30) days in advance of any such recording and provide Equity with the details thereof. A Performer shall be signed to the applicable Radio Agreement contract for any such recording and broadcast by the and copies of same shall be filed with Equity. A Performer whose engagement contract provides for both public performance and any such recording and broadcast by the where the rate for the recording and broadcast is not less than the applicable minimum fee in accordance with the Radio Agreement, shall not be required to be engaged under an contract. Archival Recording. An archival Recording of the production may be permitted with the express written permission of Equity and under such terms and conditions as Equity may establish. The cast must be apprised of the archival Recording Rules in writing 48 hours in advance of the Archival Recording.

Archival Recording. The Ballet may make study recordings during regular rehearsal hours without any additional payment to the Artist under the following conditions:
Archival Recording. The Artist’s performance cannot be recorded under this Agreement, in any way, except that the NAC may record, for the exclusive use of its archives, or as provided for in Clause 21:02, an audio or audio- visual recording of the Artist’s work. If the NAC wishes to record the Artist’s performance for any other reason, a separate agreement shall be entered into between the NAC and Equity, governed where applicable by national agreements.
Archival Recording. The use of an ‘Archival Recording’ as defined in the Performers Collective Agreement (PCA), is bound by s 41 of the PCA, which will continue in force to the date this Agreement is agreed by all Performers. At which point, where there is a discrepancy, this Agreement would take precedence. Archival Recording can only be used for streaming or other broadcast with express agreement between the Performers and the Company, outlining the intended usage, including limits to the time, place and period for which the Recording will be released. The Producer shall employ its best efforts to ensure that all Performers have the right to view the Archival Recording prior to its use for streaming or for any agreed broadcast. In the event that the Producer or its representatives contact a Performer or their representative and provide them the right to view the Archival Recording, and the Performer does not view the Archival Recording within fourteen days of such notice, the Archival Recording shall be deemed to have been viewed by that Performer Any edits of the Archival Recording must be agreed by the Performers and The Company. In all cases outlined above, the Producer will provide a cast list to MEAA and advise if they have been unable to contact or get approval from any of their Performers. Producers will not use undue influence on Performers when seeking their permission for use of the recording, and will accept if any Performer denies the request for use of the recording. The Company and the Performers will limit the use of the archival recording or any related material (footage or stills) to only that which what is intended by this Agreement. This includes limiting the viewer ability to record, download or share the footage and being responsible for removing it from all websites. The Performers’ image will be limited to the usage ascribed in this agreement, including any limits to the time, place and period for which it can be used.
