Appearance Before Employer. A teacher shall be entitled to have present a representative during any appearance before the Board or its agents. A teacher shall be given prior notice for such a meeting.
Appearance Before Employer. When any employee is required to appear before the board or an administrator concerning reassignment or any matter regarding the employee’s professionalism, continued employment, salary or any increments pertaining thereto, the employee will be entitled to have a representative of their choice present, if requested, to advise and/or represent the employee during such meeting or interview. This representative may be a member of the association. The employee will have a twenty-four (24) hour period between the notification of a meeting and the meeting with the board or an administrator concerning reassignment or any matter regarding the employee’s professionalism, continued employment, salary or any increments pertaining thereto. In situations that involve the health and safety of students, the twenty-four (24) hour period of notification of a meeting will not be required. The notification will advise the employee of the reason for the meeting and of their right to have a representative present.

If in the event, any preventative or corrective action is taken, the notice will be placed in the employee’s personnel file. Nothing in this article is interpreted to preclude the meeting of the teacher and principal or other administrator in routine school affairs or favorable evaluations.

A teacher shall be entitled to have present another teacher or teachers during any appearances before the Board of Trustees concerning any matter which could adversely affect the teacher’s position, employment, salary, or any increments thereto pertaining. A teacher shall be given prior written notice of the reason for such a meeting or interview and shall be advised in advance of the right to representation under this provision of the Agreement. Prior written notice could include public posting of meeting agenda.

No teacher shall be required to appear before the Board or Superintendent concerning any matter which could adversely affect the continuation of that teacher in his/her position, employment or the salary and any increments pertaining thereto, unless he/she and the Association have been given prior written notice of the reason for such a meeting or interview. The teacher shall also be entitled to have a representative of the Association present to advise and represent him/her.
Appearance Before Employer. An Employee shall be entitled to DCCU representation during any appearance before DCC or its agents concerning any disciplinary action. An Employee shall be given prior written notice of the reason for such a meeting or interview and shall be advised in advance of the meeting concerning his/her right to representation under this provision of the Agreement.

No teacher shall be required to appear before the Employer or its agents at a Due Process meeting, unless he/she has been given prior notice of the time, place and reason for such a meeting, at least 48 hours in advance, and shall be entitled to have an available representative of the Association present to advise him/her and represent him/her during such meeting.
