Annual Holiday Entitlement. (a) An employee shall, upon the completion of each year of current continuous service, be entitled to four (4) weeks annual holidays.

Annual Holiday Entitlement. Sec. 11.1 The employee shall be entitled to paid annual holiday leave in each calendar year. The holiday leave year is the calendar year.
Annual Holiday Entitlement. Five weeks and one day of annual holiday shall be given to each employee who is in the employment of the firm for twelve consecutive months prior to 30 September of the holiday year (i.e., 1 October to 30 September) for which the holiday is given. The timing of the additional day of annual holiday, shall be determined by the employer. Note: Legal Holiday Entitlement Under the Working Time Regulations employees are legally entitled to accrue 4 weeks paid holiday in each leave year. This legal entitlement includes additional holidays contained within the GES/Unite GPM Sector National Agreement and applies regardless of any period of sickness absence or maternity leave. The annual holiday entitlement will be paid for on the basis of weekly average earnings as defined in paragraph 14.1.   • Holiday Entitlement Only regular employees who are not on a "leave of absence" and who:

  • Holiday 6.1 The Executive shall be entitled during the Employment to 30 working days holiday in each calendar year plus bank holidays.   • Federal Holidays The Employee shall be entitled to federal holidays per calendar year. This is subject to change by the Employer from time to time. If for any reason the Employee should request a Federal Holiday off, the Employer shall determine if the Employee may do so and if it shall be taken from either the Employee’s Personal Leave or Vacation Time. Federal Holidays are determined by the Employer and may change every calendar year.

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.

  • Floating Holiday All employees except intermittent, emergency, and temporary employees shall also receive one (1) floating holiday each fiscal year of this Agreement. However, seasonal employees shall be eligible for only one (1) floating holiday per season and intermittent employees shall receive one (1) floating holiday each fiscal year of this Agreement if they complete ninety-one (91) working days in that fiscal year. Unless waived by the supervisor, the employee must request the floating holiday at least fourteen (14) calendar days in advance. The Appointing Authority may limit the number of employees that may be absent on any given day subject to the operational needs of the Appointing Authority. Any conflicts for requested holidays shall be resolved on the basis of State Seniority within the employee's work unit. The Appointing Authority shall make a reasonable effort to approve the requested holiday. Floating holidays may not be accumulated. An employee who has not requested the floating holiday by March 1 of each fiscal year or by thirty (30) calendar days prior to the end of an employee's season shall be scheduled to take a floating holiday on a day chosen by the Appointing Authority or be paid for the floating holiday in cash at the option of the Appointing Authority.
