Annual Audit. The Charter School shall have an annual financial audit. i. The financial audit shall be conducted by an independent certified public accountant licensed in the State of Georgia. The Charter School will submit its annual financial audit to the State of Georgia by November 1st each year. ii. A separate audit shall not be required for a school if the Charter School is included in the local school system audit conducted pursuant to Code Section 50-6-6, but the Charter School will submit the system’s audit to the State of Georgia by November 1st each year. iii. If a conversion school charter is held by a nonprofit, the Charter School shall have an annual financial audit pursuant to subsection (i) of this paragraph.
