Common use of Annexations Clause in Contracts

Annexations. This Agreement extends to any territory annexed to City during the term of this Agreement which is not within the service area for another Solid Waste enterprise which qualifies under Public Resources Code Section 49521 to continue to provide Solid Waste services. In such event, this Agreement shall become effective as to such area at the earliest possible date permitted by law, and City agrees that it shall cooperate with Contractor to fulfill any requirement necessary for Contractor to serve the annexed area consistent with this section.
