AND WORKWEEK. (a) The workday shall begin at the beginning of the first or day shift and shall end at the beginning of the first shift on the following day. The workweek shall commence with the first or day shift on Sunday and shall end at the beginning of the first shift on the following Sunday. This provision is not intended to change the schedules presently in effect and merely defines the pay period. Normal day or days off will be shown for employees on the weekly schedule posted by Thursday, for the following week. This schedule shall be subject to change with notification of affected employees up to a.m. on Sunday on operation and Monday on operations of days or less. In the case of maintenance day workers the regularly scheduled days work shall be consecutive.

WORKDAY The "regular work day" shall consist of eight (8) hours between 6:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Employees may be required to work adjusted daily schedules when given at least three (3) calendar days advance notice by the responsible administrator. The workweek for employees in the maintenance trades will begin on Sunday or Monday at a.m. Any employee required to work six hours or more on Sunday will be given an alternate day off during that week. With No Work Available Employees reporting for work on their scheduled shifts without having been notified by telephone four hours before their shift starting time that their services will no longer be required, shall be given four hours work or four hours straight time pay at no less than the rate of the job for which scheduled. This notification requirement shall not apply to employees not having a telephone.

Employees working the four day work week on days between Monday and Friday inclusive must have Saturday and Sunday as their regular days off and a third day off as designated by the Company. Where the four (4) ten 0) hour shifts include Saturday and/or Sunday the four (4) shifts must run consecutively and the employee shall have three consecutive days off. Where the four (4 )ten (10)hour shifts include Saturday and/or Sunday the shifts may have different start times for each of those days, however, there must be not less than eight hours off duty between each shift. Where the ten how day is agreed to between the parties the ten hour day will be applicable in all daily guarantees provided in this agreement. Section Guarantees Regular employees reporting for work pursuant to instructions are guaranteed eight hours. Except that when a regular employee reports to work and no work is available, he will be paid for four (4) hours time if sent home. When a part-time or seniority employee is called and reports for duty, the employee shall be guaranteed a minimum of four (4)hours and if he works in excess of four (4)hours he shall be guaranteed six hours, and if he works in excess of six (6) hours he shall be guaranteed eight (8) hours work and/or pay.
