AND PROMOTION. (a) A new employee hired for Fire Suppression shall be classified as a Probationer until the probationary period is completed, at which time he shall be classified as a Fourth Class Fire Fighter. A new employee hired as an Alarm Room Operator shall be classified as a Probationer until the probationary period is completed at which time, if he successfully completes examinations that may be required, he shall be classified as a Third Class Alarm Room Operator. AND PROMOTION. A. Employees hired or promoted prior to July 1, 1988 shall have July 1 considered as their anniversary date. All hires after July 1, 1988 shall have the specific dates of same considered as their anniversary date. (See subparagraph B for modification as to a fire fighter's anniversary date.)
AND PROMOTION. When effecting a promotion, the employees to be promoted normally will be selected from employ- ees on the next lower job classification in the applicable occupational group.   • Promotional Material In the event that the Fund or the Investment Adviser makes available any promotional materials related to the Securities or the transactions contemplated hereby intended for use only by registered broker-dealers and registered representatives thereof by means of an Internet web site or similar electronic means, the Investment Adviser will install and maintain or will cause to be installed and maintained, pre-qualification and password-protection or similar procedures which are reasonably designed to effectively prohibit access to such promotional materials by persons other than registered broker-dealers and registered representatives thereof.

  • VACANCIES AND PROMOTIONS Section 1. The following procedures will be followed in the posting and filling of vacant or newly created permanent positions.
