Analysis / Confirmation. The confirmation test must provide unequivocal evidence of the identity of the drug/drugs detected at the screening stage with detailed protocols submitted describing the methodology proposed including sensitivity and the specificity, and also the false positive and false negative rates expected for each assay. The presence of the drugs indicated by a positive screen result must be confirmed using an appropriate technique, recognised by drug testing experts. A high degree of sensitivity and specificity is required and proposals must clearly state tolerance levels in relation to all cut-off levels to be used. Analysis / Confirmation. Where following a positive screening test the prisoner denies using illicit drugs the laboratory must carry out a confirmation test - up to approximately 15,000 samples per annum. Please demonstrate and provide evidence to show how the laboratory will cope with this workload.
Analysis / Confirmation. Positive test results must be interpreted in light of medication declared by the prisoner. It must be stated clearly whether that medication could account for the positive result obtained. Some positive results may be due to medication (prescribed or over-the-counter) or be due to dietary causes. Please explain how you will account for this.

  • Risk Analysis The Custodian will provide the Fund with a Risk Analysis with respect to Securities Depositories operating in the countries listed in Appendix B. If the Custodian is unable to provide a Risk Analysis with respect to a particular Securities Depository, it will notify the Fund. If a new Securities Depository commences operation in one of the Appendix B countries, the Custodian will provide the Fund with a Risk Analysis in a reasonably practicable time after such Securities Depository becomes operational. If a new country is added to Appendix B, the Custodian will provide the Fund with a Risk Analysis with respect to each Securities Depository in that country within a reasonably practicable time after the addition of the country to Appendix B.
