An employee qualified Sample Clauses

An employee qualified by seniority, who is on a sick leave certified by a medical doctor or on an authorized leave of absence, will be deemed eligible for payment of holiday pay for any holiday occurring during the first month of such absence. Moreover, if the first one or more days of a series of consecutive holidays as referred to in Article 23 (01) above fell within the first month of a sick leave certified by a medical doctor, an employee will be deemed eligible for payment of holiday pay for all such days in that series. However, this latter provision would not apply in the case of an authorized leave of absence.
