Alternate Stewards. The Company agrees to recognize any employees, selected by the Union Stewards, to act as alternate Stewards to assist in the presentation of any proper grievances that may arise, in the event that the Xxxxxxx is absent from work. The Company will be advised in writing of the names of any Alternate Stewards once they are selected.
Alternate Stewards. The Union may also designate one alternate Xxxxxxx for each Xxxxxxx listed above. The alternate Xxxxxxx will have the same jurisdictional area as his/her Xxxxxxx, and will only be entitled to act as a representative during the absence of the Xxxxxxx from work.
Alternate Stewards. An Alternate Xxxxxxx acting in the capacity of a Xxxxxxx has the same authority as a Xxxxxxx. An Alternate Xxxxxxx may exercise the functions of a Xxxxxxx under this Agreement only if the Xxxxxxx is unavailable.
Alternate Stewards. One xxxxxxx will be recognized for each designated area established under Section 4.02 above; one alternate xxxxxxx may be designated for each recognized xxxxxxx. Such alternate stewards shall act for the recognized xxxxxxx only when the recognized xxxxxxx is in a nonduty status or TDY, and shall be granted official time in accordance with this Article.
Alternate Stewards. One (1) active employee named by the Union for each shift.

Alternate Stewards. In the absence of the xxxxxxx, the President may appoint an alternate xxxxxxx to handle the complaint and/or grievance; or the President may process or investigate the grievance at his/her discretion by notifying the Board.
Alternate Stewards. An alternate Xxxxxxx may be designated for each regular Xxxxxxx listed herein, to act when the regular Xxxxxxx is absent. Union Stewards and alternates shall not meet on Employer time to confer on matters not specifically permitted under the terms of this Agreement. Alternate Stewards shall only act in the capacity of the elected Xxxxxxx in the elected Xxxxxxx'x absence. Employees who violate these provisions shall be subject to disciplinary action up to and including discharge.

The Employer will be advised in writing of the names of any Alternate Stewards once they are selected.
Alternate Stewards. The Employer and the Union recognize that matters and circumstances may, from time to time, make it appropriate for the Union to be represented by the xxxxxxx and/or an alternate xxxxxxx. The Employer will not unreasonably deny the right of both stewards to act where the matter is of sufficient importance and where both stewards are readily available. Availability and participation of the alternate xxxxxxx shall not be a factor in the processing of grievances under Article 8 of this Agreement.
