Common use of Alternate Members Clause in Contracts

Alternate Members. Each Party must appoint one (1) of its elected officials as an alternate member to serve on the Governing Board in the absence of that Party’s primary appointed member. An alternate member may only vote when the primary member of the Governing Board for that Party is absent from the meeting. Alternate members may attend and participate during discussion in all Governing Board meetings.
