Alternate Managers. One Alternate Manager to the Joint Powers Board shall be appointed by each party to this agreement. Alternate Managers may attend any meeting of the Joint Powers Board and in the absence of the appointed Manager have the right to vote on the behalf of the member local governmental unit that the Alternate represents. If a Joint Powers Board Manager is also an officer of the Joint Powers Board, the Alternate shall not be entitled to serve in the place of such officer when the officer is absent.

Alternate Managers. (i) Subject as set forth in Section 2.15, an alternate Class A Manager may be appointed by Majority Vote of the Class A Common Members to act for and fulfill the obligations of any Class A Manager in the event that such Class A Manager is unable to SOUTHWEST attend any meeting of the Managers or any committee thereof. Any such alternates shall be specified in writing by such Class A Common Members to the Secretary of the Company. Any appointment of an alternate Class A Manager may be changed by Majority Vote of the Class A Common Members.
Alternate Managers. Each Manager shall have the right to designate an individual to attend and vote at meetings of the Board of Managers as the proxy of such regularly appointed Manager.

  • Alternate Directors 35.1 Any Director (but not an alternate Director) may by writing appoint any other Director, or any other person willing to act, to be an alternate Director and by writing may remove from office an alternate Director so appointed by him.

  • Chair The Chair of the Union/Management Committee shall alternate between an Employer representative and a representative of the Union.

  • Conference Telephone Meetings Directors or members of any committee of the Board may participate in a meeting of the Board or such committee by means of conference telephone or similar communications equipment by means of which all persons participating in the meeting can hear each other, and such participation in a meeting shall constitute presence in person at such meeting.

  • JOINT LABOUR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 18.01 A Joint Labour Management Committee shall be established to attend to those matters which are of mutual interest. To ensure its effectiveness the Committee shall be separate and apart from the grievance procedure.

  • NOTICE BOARD (a) A notice board shall be provided for the posting of all official Union notices exclusively, and will not be used for the purpose of disseminating political information. The right is reserved to the Company to request the removal of material offensive to the Company.

  • Selection Committee A. Each building site will appoint a selection committee for the TLS. The committee shall be comprised of equal numbers of teachers and administrators and at least one teacher will be appointed by the Des Moines Education Association.
