AICUZ Requirements Clause Samples
The AICUZ Requirements clause establishes obligations to comply with the Air Installation Compatible Use Zone (AICUZ) program, which aims to ensure land use compatibility around military airfields. This clause typically requires parties to adhere to specific noise, safety, and land use restrictions in areas affected by military flight operations, such as limiting building heights or prohibiting certain types of development. Its core function is to prevent conflicts between military airfield operations and surrounding land uses, thereby promoting safety, operational efficiency, and community well-being.
