Common use of Agency Fees Clause in Contracts

Agency Fees. a. Employees who do not pay union dues shall pay agency fees as a condition of employment. The amount of the fee shall be deducted by the University from the wages or salary of the employee and paid to UPTE.

This fee, as determined and certified by the University from Union in accordance with the wages or salary requirements as to which expenses may permissibly be included in an agency fee for services related to the negotiation and administration of the employee and paid to UPTEcontract, shall not exceed the amount of dues assessed.
