When NPS is determined to be the Lead Agency for the purposes of Section 106 activities for these named storms, NPS will coordinate the Section 106 review activities of all Federal agencies and Tribes that participate in undertakings funded by ESHPF. Projects reviewed and commented upon by the SHPO prior to the NPS ESHPF funding and done in accordance with 54 U.S.C. § 302303, which describes the role of the SHPO, and commented upon as per 36 CFR Part 800, may proceed without additional review, provided the scope of work remains the same. D. When projects involve National Historic Landmarks, a Project Notification should be supplied to NPS to allow review and adherence to Section 110(f).
