Afternoon and Night Shifts. In recognition of the undesirable features of shift work, full-time employees shall receive an additional 34 cents per hour for all hours of any shift where 50 percent or more of the hours of the shift fall between 3:00 p.m. and midnight (allowances cannot be received for both this shift and split shift) and an additional 38 cents per hour for all hours of any shift where 50 percent or more of the hours of the shift fall between midnight and 6:00 a.m.

Afternoon and Night Shifts. If the employee is rostered to work an afternoon shift, being a shift finishing after 6.30 pm but not later than 12.30 am, the employee must be paid an afternoon shift allowance of 20% extra, on ordinary hours, for such shift. Where an employee works night shifts, being a shift finishing after 12.30 am and at or before 8.30 am, a shift allowance of 30.0% extra, on ordinary hours, is payable.

  • Afternoon Shift If a second shift is employed, the hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours of work between the hours of 4:30 P.M. and 12:30 A.M. for which eight (8) hours will be paid and a shift premium of sixty-one cents (61¢) shall be added on to the classified hourly rate.

  • Night Shift Employees who regularly work a full shift of eight (8) hours or more on night shift as defined in Section 12.6.1 (Types of Shifts), which includes four (4) hours or more between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 7:00 a.m., shall be paid their regular salary plus ten percent (10%) of their monthly salary per month, provided that in the case of any employee who is regularly assigned to night-shift work for less than an entire work week, the additional payment shall be made only for the portion of the work week worked on the night-shift assignment.

  • Monday CASE II An employee should not work more than 16 hours and must take an 8 hour break before continuing work. Therefore, an employee called in at 7:00 p.m. Sunday could work until 11:00

  • Hour Shifts When the Employer deems it necessary to implement a twelve (12) hour work day, affected employees shall be notified pursuant to Clause 14.05. The following Clauses shall be replaced or added to the Collective Agreement where appropriate.

  • Monday through Friday Landlord shall have the right to prescribe the weight, size and position of all safes and other heavy property brought into the Building and also the times and manner of moving the same in and out of the Building. Safes and other heavy objects shall, if considered necessary by Landlord, stand on supports of such thickness as is necessary to properly distribute the weight. Landlord will not be responsible for loss of or damage to any such safe or property in any case. Any damage to any part of the Building, its contents, occupants or visitors by moving or maintaining any such safe or other property shall be the sole responsibility and expense of Tenant.
