Common use of Affiliates Clause in Contracts

Affiliates. For purposes of this Agreement, “Affiliates” shall mean any individuals or entities that directly or indirectly, through one or more intermediaries, controls, are controlled by or are under common control with the Company. For purposes of this definition, “control” means the power to direct the management and policies of another, whether through the ownership of voting securities, by contract or otherwise.

Affiliates. For purposes of this Agreement, “Affiliates” Affiliates shall mean any individuals or entities that directly or indirectly, through one or more intermediaries, controls, are controlled by or are under common control with the Company. For purposes of this definition, “control” means the power to direct or cause the direction of management and or policies of another, (whether through the ownership of voting securitiessecurities of any company or other ownership interest, by contract or otherwise) of a person or entity.
