Common use of Affiliated Person Clause in Contracts

Affiliated Person. Each Lender agrees, upon an officer of such ▇▇▇▇▇▇ principally responsible for the administration of this Agreement obtaining actual knowledge thereof (without the need for independent investigation), to notify the Borrower if such Lender becomes an “affiliated person”, or an affiliated person of an affiliated person of the Borrower (within the meaning of Section 2(a)(3) of the Investment Company Act). Nothing in this Section 10.17 (Affiliated Person) shall be construed to impose any duty or obligation on the Lender to undertake any independent investigation.
