Adoptive Parents. Upon the adoption of a child, a bargaining unit member may take Child Care Leave Without Pay for a period not to exceed six (6) months.
Adoptive Parents. A YSU-APAS member is entitled, upon the adoption of a child, to leave without pay for a period not to exceed six (6) months for the purpose of child care.
Adoptive Parents acknowledge that Barker has provided them with information regarding the risks of international adoptions, including the attached sheet. They understand that Barker cannot warrant the accuracy of any medical information of a child where such information is provided by a foreign country. Additionally, they understand there are events that may occur during the adoption process that are beyond the control of Barker. They assume the risk that is associated with international adoption and the uncertainty about the accuracy of the medical information they shall receive.
Adoptive Parents. At the time of application for the leave, the member shall provide documentation certifying that a child is being adopted to her care and noting the placement date for the adoptee;
Adoptive Parents.  Up to 37 consecutive weeks in duration  Parental leave to begin within 52 weeks after the child is placed with the parent. A child who is still in hospital or in a foster home is not considered to be placed with the parent, even though the parent may have custody. Adoptive Parents. Parental Leave is defined as a leave of absence from employment of up to thirty-seven (37) weeks to care for an adopted child. For Quebec residents under benefits are payable to a maximum of thirty-seven (37) weeks under the Basic Plan or (28) weeks under the Special Plan. Regular earnings Regular earnings are defined as the gross amount of an employee's regular salary, excluding extra payments such as, but not limited to, any overtime, bonus or premiums, which may be paid to the employee.
