Adoption or. An employee shall be granted special leave with pay up to a of one (1) working day on the occasion of the birth of his child. An employee shall be granted special leave with pay up to a maximum of one (1) working day on the occasion of the adoption of a child. Under special circumstances the Association may extend this period to a maximum of five (5) working days. Traditional Special leave for a period of up to one (1) day may be granted, subject to operational requirements, to a reasonable number of employees on very short notice in order to meet traditional hunting or harvesting opportunities. This leave may be divided into two half-day (1 periods, and taken on separate occasions. Employees shall be granted special leave with pay for lost through quarantine when the employee provides the Association with a medical certificate to that effect.

The Participant may place orders for the creation or redemption of Creation Units through the Trust’s Clearing Process, the Fed Book-Entry System and/or DTC or Euroclear, subject to the procedures for creation and redemption referred to in Sections 2 and 3 of this Agreement and the procedures described in Attachments A and A-1 hereto. Any change in the foregoing status of the Participant shall terminate this Agreement, and the Participant shall give prompt notice to the Distributor and the Transfer Agent of such change. Transfers of securities settling through Euroclear or other foreign depositories may require Participant access to such facilities. The Participant further represents that it is a broker-dealer registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) and a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”) or is exempt from or otherwise not required to be licensed as a broker-dealer or a member of FINRA. The Participant is qualified, registered and/or licensed to act as a broker or dealer, or is otherwise exempt, as required according to all applicable laws of the state(s) in which the Participant conducts its activities as defined hereunder. The Participant is a qualified institutional buyer as defined in Rule 144A under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “1933 Act”). The Participant agrees to conform to the rules of FINRA (if it is a member of FINRA) and the securities laws of any jurisdiction to the extent such laws, rules and regulations relate to the Participant’s transactions in, and activities with respect to, the Shares.

  • Maintaining Eligibility for Employer Contribution The employer's contribution continues as long as the employee remains on the payroll in an insurance eligible position. Employees who complete their regular school year assignment shall receive coverage through August 31.

  • Adoption of Agreements BellSouth shall make available, pursuant to 47 USC § 252 and the FCC rules and regulations regarding such availability, to <<customer_name>> any interconnection, service, or network element provided under any other agreement filed and approved pursuant to 47 USC § 252, provided a minimum of six months remains on the term of such Agreement. The Parties shall adopt all rates, terms and conditions concerning such other interconnection, service or network element and any other rates, terms and conditions that are legitimately related to or were negotiated in exchange for or in conjunction with the interconnection, service or network element being adopted. The adopted interconnection, service, or network element and agreement shall apply to the same states as such other agreement.
