Adoption of a Child. An employee who adopts a child may request personal leave 4 without pay at any time during the first year after obtaining actual custody of a child, or as 5 otherwise needed to fulfill the requirements for adoption. Adoption leave is subject to the 6 maternity leave article. Only one adoption leave per household will be granted at one time.
