SECTION 1 - Recognition The Board hereby recognizes the Association as the exclusive bargaining representative for all certificated employees (exclusive of athletic extracurricular contracts) employed by the Board whether under contract, on leave, or to be employed by the Board excluding: the chief administrative officers of the Board, such as, the superintendent of the District, principals and other exempt employees. The terms "teacher" or "employee" when used hereinafter in the Agreement shall refer to all certificated employees represented by the Association.
