ADDITIONAL SERVICES OF ENGINEER. If authorized in writing by the City, Engineer shall furnish, or obtain from others, Additional Services that may be required because of significant changes in the scope, extent or character of the portions of the Project designed or specified by the Engineer, as defined in Exhibit “A”. These Additional Services, plus reimbursable expenses, will be paid for by the Owner on the basis set forth in Exhibit “A,” up to the amount authorized in writing by the City.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES OF ENGINEER. Owner shall pay Engineer for Additional Services of Engineer rendered under Section 2. Fees shall be paid per Section 5 of the Agreement. Compensation for Additional Services actually completed shall be paid on a cost reimbursable basis in an amount not to be negotiated if such services are needed for the project. Cost reimbursable compensation shall be based on Engineer’s personnel time at Engineer’s hourly labor rates attached hereto as Attachment A Hourly Fee Schedule. All direct expenses, including mileage, travel and lodging expenses, but excluding subcontract expenses, applied to the Additional Services of Engineer, shall be paid at invoice or internal office cost plus a ten percent (10%) service charge. Subcontract expenses shall be paid at direct cost plus a ten percent (10%) service charge. All sales, use, value added, business transfer, gross receipts, or other similar taxes will be added to Engineer's compensation when invoicing Owner.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES OF ENGINEER. At the request of the Owner, the Engineer can provide additional services, either directly or through its affiliates, at regular hourly rates for such work plus out of pocket expenses.
