Additional Public Holiday. In addition to the public holidays prescribed above, an employee is entitled to one other day prescribed by the relevant state or territory.

Additional Public Holiday. (a) Where, in accordance with subclause 23.6, less than a full day is proclaimed and observed as a public holiday, within the calendar year and within the area in which Xxxxxxxxxx is situated, a full day will be observed as a public holiday between Christmas and New Year, within the days Monday to Friday inclusive and not coinciding with a date that is already a gazetted public holiday for that calendar year.

Additional Public Holiday. This clause seeks to override clause 20.2 in the Parent Award. All employees under this Agreement are entitled to an additional public holiday on the first Monday of December each year. The remaining Parent Award conditions applying to general public holidays shall also apply to the additional public holiday.
