Ad Hoc Committees. Ad hoc committees may be appointed by the SIC. The findings of such committees shall be reported to the SIC. 15.3.7.7 Referral (SIC). Items which cannot be resolved by the School Improvement Council may be jointly referred in writing by the chairperson and the principal to the superintendent with a copy to the association. If one party requests a joint referral, both parties must submit their rationale for their position to the superintendent within three (3) working days. The superintendent shall provide an opportunity to meet with the school SIC administrator and SIC chair separately to discuss the matter in question prior to issuing a response. The superintendent shall respond to all parties concerned within ten (10) working days of receipt of referral.
