Activity During Working Hours. Employees shall, after giving appropriate notice to their supervisor, be allowed reasonable time off during regular working hours, with pay, to attend grievance hearings or meetings called and agreed to by the Employer, provided such employees are entitled or required to attend such meetings by virtue of being Union representatives, witnesses or grievants, and such attendance does not substantially interfere with the Employer's operations.
Activity During Working Hours. When grievance meetings, labor management meetings and meetings of committees established by this contract are held at the Employer’s request during working hours, then employees shall be paid for such time. This includes attendance at such meet- ings by employees acting as Union representatives, stewards, witnesses or grievants. Nothing shall prevent the Employer from holding such meetings outside of working hours.
Activity During Working Hours. Employees and designated IFPE representatives shall, after giving reasonable advanced notice to the appropriate Employer representative, including the location and expected duration of the meeting, be allowed reasonable time off with pay during working hours to attend pre-disciplinary meetings, grievance hearings, labor management meetings and, where current practice exists, supplemental negotiations. Where feasible and where equipment is readily available the Employer shall allow designated IFPE representatives reasonable use of telephone, and fax machines, computer and internet for the purpose of investigating and processing grievances. Such use shall not include any long distance or toll calls at the expense of the Employer.
Activity During Working Hours. The Union shall have the right to appoint a xxxxxxx on any job where workmen are employed under the terms of this Agreement. Such xxxxxxx shall be allowed sufficient time to see that the provisions of this Agreement are observed on the job.

Activity During Working Hours. A designated unit employee representative, with permission of his/her supervisor may leave his/her assigned work with pay for a reasonable period of time to investigate an alleged grievance. The employee representative shall be in a non-pay status while so occupied if proper permission to absent himself/ herself from work has not been first obtained. Section 7 - Labor Council Negotiating Team The Employer agrees to allow no more than two (2) employees to attend negotiations without loss of pay. The Employer shall not otherwise be obligated for wages or subsistence expenses for any employees except as described above.
