Common use of Active Duty Clause in Contracts

Active Duty. An employee who is ordered or who volunteers for active duty in the armed services of the United States will be granted leave without pay in accordance with law. Following release from military service, the employee will be reinstated to employment status in a position comparable to the one held before entering the military service, pursuant to law. Full experience credit for leave of absence while in military service will be granted for placement purposes.
