Accumulation of Personal Leave Days. Employees may elect to carry over up to two (2) personal leave days each year. These carry over days can be combined with the current year's three (3) days, for a maximum of five (5) days that could be used in any one year. Such five (5) days can be taken consecutively.

Accumulation of Personal Leave Days. One half (1/2) day per month up to a maximum of six (6) personal leave days may be accumulated on a calendar year basis. Personal leave days may be taken, in whole or in part, at the mutual agreement of the employee and supervisor, and must be scheduled to allow for provision of coverage. Personal leave days may only be used in the calendar year in which they are granted. They are not carried over to the next calendar year. Personal leave days have no monetary value. This is not intended to be another form of remuneration. It is strictly provided to allow the employee time to attend to personal business that may arise from time to time.

  • Use of Personal Leave An employee may use personal leave credits to conduct personal business that cannot be conducted outside of normal working hours and for personal emergencies.

  • Variation of period of parental leave Unless agreed otherwise between the employer and employee, an employee may apply to their employer to change the period of parental leave on one occasion. Any such change to be notified at least four weeks prior to the commencement of the changed arrangements.
