Common use of Accrual Rate Clause in Contracts

Accrual Rate. Full-time employees shall accrue sick leave at the rate of 8.666 hours per month. Eligible part-time employees shall accrue sick leave on a pro-rata basis based on hours worked. Sick leave shall be accumulated during an employee's probationary period and may be utilized by an employee during the probationary period if there is leave accumulated to cover the time of sickness.
