Common use of Accrual Maximum Clause in Contracts

Accrual Maximum. ‌ A. Employees may accrue no more than 270 hours of vacation time. When an employee reaches their maximum vacation accrual, no further vacation will accrue until the employee’s accrual is decreased below the allowed maximum of 270 hours. B. For employees with over 230 hours that are denied their vacation request by the department, the employee will be allowed to accrue more than the 270 hour maximum until the department grants the request for vacation.
