Common use of Absences From Duty Clause in Contracts

Absences From Duty. 25.1 Where an employee is absent from duty (other than on approved paid leave), he/she shall for each day so absent, lose average pay for each such day calculated by dividing the weekly ordinary time wage rate by the normal number of ordinary time days worked.
