Common use of A Cabin Clause in Contracts

A Cabin. Attendant transferred or promoted to a position outside the scope of the certification unit, will maintain and accrue his seniority for years of service and classification for a period of 12 consecutive months from the date of transfer or promotion, except for periods of absence due to illness, injury or maternity leave. At the end of this period, the name of that Cabin Attendant will be removed from the seniority list.

Attendant transferred or promoted to a position outside the scope of the certification unit, except as provided in Article 10.04.01.01, will maintain and accrue his seniority for years of service and classification for a period of 12 twelve (12) consecutive months from the date of transfer or promotion, except for periods of absence due to illness, injury or maternity leave. At the end of this period, the name of that Cabin ▇▇▇▇▇ Attendant will be removed from the seniority list.
