317 Professional Development Program (2012). A. The Board shall appropriate for each contract year, a sum of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000) to provide supplemental pay to teachers and One Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($1,400) for supplemental pay for SGIs for earned college credit subject to the following conditions:

  • Professional Development Plan Professional Development Plan (PDP) refers to plans developed by faculty members addressing the criteria contained in Article 22 and Appendix G.

  • Local Professional Development Committee 1. The Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) shall be established to oversee and review professional development plans pursuant to ORC 3319.22.

  • Professional Development Committee There shall be a Professional Development Committee composed of at least two (2) representatives of the Association and an equal number of representatives from the Hospital. Each party may have alternates to replace a member from time to time.

  • Professional Development Leave 20.01 The College recognizes that it is in the interests of employees, students and the College that employees are given the opportunity by the College to pursue College-approved professional development activities outside the College through further academic or technical studies or in industry where such activities will enhance the ability of the employee upon return to the College to fulfill professional responsibilities.

  • Professional Development Days Upon request, each Employee shall be granted at least three (3) professional development days annually, at the Basic Rate of Pay. An Employee shall be advised, prior to taking any professional development days of any transportation, registration fees, subsistence and other expenses that will be paid by the Employer. Such hours not used in each fiscal year shall not be carried forward into subsequent years. Applications for such paid professional development opportunities shall be made in writing, to the Employer as early as possible.

  • Professional Development 9.01 Continuous professional development is a hallmark of professional nursing practice. As a self-regulating profession, nursing recognizes the importance of maintaining a dynamic practice environment which includes ongoing learning, the maintenance of competence, career development, career counselling and succession planning. The parties agree that professional development includes a diverse range of activities, including but not limited to formal academic programs; short-term continuing education activities; certification programs; independent learning committee participation. The parties recognize their joint responsibility in and commitment to active participation in the area of professional development.

  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT A. Purpose In our rapidly changing society, teachers must constantly review curricular content, teaching methods and materials, educational philosophy and goals, social change, and other topics related to education. The Board recognizes that it shares with its professional staff responsibility for the upgrading and updating of teacher performance and attitudes. The Board and the Association support the principle of continuing training of teachers and the improvement of instruction. The parties further agree that each teacher should fulfill this obligation for professional improvement.

  • Development Program A. Development activities to be undertaken (Please break activities into subunits with the date of completion of major milestones)

  • Initial Development Plan No later than the Effective Date, Tigercat and Merck shall have agreed on the initial Development plan for the Licensed Compounds and Licensed Products in the Field in the Territory, which shall be incorporated as part of this Agreement as Schedule 3.03(a) (as amended in accordance with this Agreement, the “Development Plan”).
